    Default Another weird cat thing...eating

Both my cats are indoor/outdoor and they both do the same thing. At dinner time, they come in the kitchen and demand their food. I dish it out, they jump up, examine the food to see if they approve of it, don't eat it and then want to go outside right away. They come in an hour or two later and eat the food. They never go out at dinner time until they've seen the food and sniffed it and they never eat it until later. They are sooo demanding about being fed on time, but then don't eat! It's like they have some business outside that must be taken care of, but they can't do it until they know for sure there is a meal to come back to when it's convenient for them.

Ah yes, Denny's for cats. I remember those days well......my thought about it is Mind over Matter. If you don't mind, if doesn't matter. Sounds like they know they have it good ::
