    Default Sapphire Retired

I just read this! She is 17 already and I guess they just don't want to keep pushing her. Wonderful horse, a legacy that will live on!

WOW, I guess I'm surprised. Didn't know her age, though. She's had an awesome career, but I find it sad that this happens while McClain is recovering. It just proves that time marches on and not much we can do.
May she have a happy bunch of years haning around and being a horse!

After the WEG I would have bred her to the winner's stallion - that guys horse was incredible too. I'm glad they are retiring her. She is too nice of a horse and the pair an incredible careeer - she deserves a good retirement and maybe a baby
