    Default L'Apogee Dressage Saddle?

Anyone have experience with this saddle? I hadn't heard of them but picked one up at the local tack shop to try (used). It seems to be a nice saddle...What do they normally retail for? this one is priced at 3200 and seemed a bit high? Thanks

They are nice saddles. I think they are 4-5K new.

a friend had one. Really nice saddle. Very similar to Antares, CWD, etc. Not sure what you need size wise. You could check price on the one here to see ballpark: http://www.hobsonschoicesaddlery.com/used.html

There is one here for $2800 http://gallopinggrape.com/1712lapoge...dwidetree.aspx

Assume you are looking at this one: http://eventingnation.com/sporthorse...ddle-175m.html

    Price new $4200 http://www.lasaddles.com/dl_dressage.html

No I actually Hadn't seen the one on EN... the one I am looking at is an 18in and brown...Do you think a brown saddle should be priced lower than black?

Here is one in Area II that is also 3200 http://usea2.net/ads/listing.php?id=4887

I think the color is a preference thing. What makes it cheaper is when it has been for sale for a long time and is still sitting there, you can often make an offer and pay less. I am currently selling 5 dressage saddles and a jump saddle and quite recently sold 2 dressage saddles and a jump saddle. All were sold for around $200-300 than I was asking for them, but given the number I have to sell and the fact that I had already bought the replacements that was fine by me.
