DH and I have a 'discussion' going on, and I thought I'd come to COTH for opinions.....
He says, "We have 4 house dogs", A Lab mix, a JRT, a Yorkie and a Silkie.
I say, "We have either 1.5 or 2 house dogs" , 60 lbs (Lab mix), and 15 lbs + 14 lbs +10 lbs = 39 lbs (JRT,Silkie,Yorkie).
What says COTH?
"The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear" ~ Socrates
1 dog and 3 cat equivalents?
I agree with both. Dogs under 20lb are counted as partial dogs, and/or cats

I could go several ways on this...
One: you have a house dog and three terriers.
Two: you have six house dogs. The Lab counts for three.
Three: you have four house dogs. That's how many dishes you feed from.
Me? I lean towards solution #1.
Don't tell me about what you can't do. That's boring. Show me what you can do. - Mom
