Oh, my. Poor, poor Andrew. Come home soon! Has his owner tried a pet tracker? A trap?

Aren't the pounds required to check for a microchip, which this dog has?

And that would happen in the blink of an eye too...
Hope he is found soon - sending prayers for his return to his Mom.

Thank you! I have passed this information along to Andy's owner. I am not sure if she already knew that or not. I know Andy's story was on the Channel 12 News at 5:00pm one evening last week.

Andy is still missing . . .
Andy now has his own Facebook page, Bring Andy Home. It includes several photos to help someone recognize him (and get an idea of what a wonderful guy he is).

He is surely tired, hungry and confused by now . . . we need to find him soon.

Thank you! The more people we can make aware the better chance he has of being found and reunited with his family. You never know when a friend, or a friend of a friend, might know someone in the area.

Extend your search...
as far as you can. About 2 months ago a a family in the Stonybrook area of Long Island lost their Irish Setter. The family kept the alerts out and posted their plea on our local equine message board LIEQUINE.COM. Someone did find him in Riverhead, NY which is approximately 27 miles. That's pretty far but you would be amazed how far pets can travel. Don't give up hope. My thoughts and prayers are with you that Andy will find his way back to you.

As of now, Andy still has not been reunited with his family . . .
His owner is devastated - he has been her "kid" and best friend for the past 11yrs. She hopes that he has found his way to someone and is at least safe, but she would really like to have him returned to her. She is heartbroken to think that he is out there somewhere wondering why she hasn't come to get him. He must certainly be tired, hungry and confused.
People are encouraged to share Andy's plight with everyone they know and in the way they feel best (Facebook, email, whatever). You never know when a friend, or friend of a friend, might be in the area. Every aware person and pair of eyes helps!
Andy's Pet Amber Alert - which includes photo, basic info and contact details - can be found here:
http://www.petamberalert.com/lost-pets/
Name is Andy, Listing Date is 1/4/12, Norwalk, CT 06851
Andy's Facebook page has information and lots of photos of him to help with recognition.
Bring Andy Home page is found here:

I'm sure Andy's owner is checking this lost pets board, since her ad is up there, but someone reports having seen a "golden small dog" near Bridgeport yesterday. Someone who doesn't know Corgis might not be able to give a better description.

Also keep checking Petfinder - both the "found" and the "adoptable" postings.
Tribble the Corgi sends barks for finding Andy.
