    Default Body Clipping Question

I just body clipped my horse for the first time and he looks great but I'm having a little issue with certain areas. I used a 10 on his body but I'm not sure what to use around his eyes and muzzle; I have a 40 but I think that's way too short. What size blade do you use on those areas? And do you have a hard time blending the hair that was cut with 10's and the hair cut with the shorter blade? Thanks!

I use the same blade for everything.

I use 10 on the whole body.

I use 10 blades for everything, including face/eyes/muzzle. For the eyes you just have to blend carefully, you don't have to clip right up to the eyelid. I think you'll find the 40's will be too short and it would be hard to blend with the rest of him.

We use the 40s only on the muzzle and ears, use your 40 around the eyes and everywhere else.

I use 10's everywhere, and sometimes use 30's on there eyes. muzzles, and ears.

I also use 10's everywhere. I've used 40's on the face before but find it's really hard to blend that way. The one time I used 40's on the face and 10's on the body I got 30's to help blend and it turned out okay.
