Default 13.2 hand Purebred Connemara pony mare - Texas

Lovely registered Connemara Pony Mare. Inspected and Approved, had a lovely filly in 2010. Used for advanced lessons (not for beginners), quiet on trails and barefoot. I've owner her for 10 years, she is 13 now. We have decided not to breed the small ponies anymore. Best home will be as a broodmare, or trail horse for a small adult. Bonnie has been standing in a pasture, giving trail rides or having babies all her life. She has never been shown. This is not a seasoned show horse. She is a lovely quiet trail horse. Yes she is sound and can "still jump", but she has minimal jumping experience. Bonnie is also on the lazy side and requires a confident rider to keep her going. Because of this, she is not a confidence builder. I hope that answers most of the questions I've gotten about her.

    Photos and video here.

Have you placed an ad on the ACPS website? You can post a free classified if you are a member. I think someone would be interested in her.

Wonderful pony! I think you can be very discriminating with this one. Best of luck finding her the perfect home - you should have no problem! : )

I've had more interest in Bonnie than I ever imagined.

I'm trying to get back with everyone individually, but just in case I miss a reply, I have someone trying her Monday. If that doesn't work out I will let everyone know.

As of 1/10/2012 Bonnie is still available.
I've added some details to the original post to help answer most questions I've received. Bonnie is not a show pony or a kids horse. She would be a great addition to the right breeding program or for an experienced small adult.

eventingchase- if you are seriously interested in the mare Uship.com is a super easy way to hire a shipper who is going that route. You set your own price and your own dates and shippers from across the country bid for your business. I've used it many times and have never been disappointed.
