feeders make great sense - I wish they had one of ours to feature in the study too. I know that I went from putting a round bale out every 2-3 days to going 8-9 days per bale and no mess in the field in the spring. they are worth their cost and pay for themselves very quickly.
I have ZERO waste and ZERO rubs or danger of leg or shoe getting caught w/ my Big Buddy Bale Bag and it was not used in this study..how odd to exclude a very good product???...with exception of "I" not 1 of those feeders would I put out for fear of a leg, shoe or head getting caught.

I will note that the study did say they did not have any injuries or shoes pulled etc by any of the feeders tested. I guess the two of you would need to contact the university doing the study to find out why they tested the feeders that they did.
I have seen a few of the bale huts here in Aiken and like them. As for the one apparently manufactured by the first poster, it appears you are either in the northwest or Canada, don't remember which from when I looked at your site yesterday. The Bale Hut is made in FL so shipping would be much more feasible to SC.
