Equisketch/Any Dressage? Ipad Apps
Anyone used either? Did you find them useful? Easy to use?
I gather you have to input all your tests? Is it easy? A pain?r
I really struggle learning and retaining tests in my head so any help is good.
I am in NZ so the USDF tests app is no good for me unfortunately.

Well, I'd like to hear about dressage apps, too. One day soon I swear I'm getting myself an iPad.
I'll just wait here with Eireamon for info...

I have the 101 Dressage Exercises app on my iphone. It's based on the book. It's really cool - the exercises are arranged kind of like flip cards.

Have the usdf for their intro tests/freestyles, usef for national tests, and fei for fei tests. Also the usef rule book and the fei rules as well. And equitempo.

I have equitests 3. It is the only app I have actually bought. I like it. It has Training through Fourth
I like the ability to draw the test movements on the scratch pad arena.

You guys are so fortunate to be able to get your tests on Equitests. Sadly our Federation is way too small to put our tests on an App. As I only ride one of the FEI tests getting that app for one test is a bit of a waste.
So I am reduced to the ones you need to input yourself such as Equisketch. I guess I will just download it and then I can be the one to report whether its a good option for us people in other countries or not
I gather I have to input my tests myself which is a bit of a PITA but at least only the once and perhaps it will help them stick in my moosh brain a bit better.
I have a Champs coming up and need to learn 4 tests for the weekend. I really struggle when its more than one and have a terrible habit of mixing and matching the tests! At the last champs on the 3rd day and last test I did 2 course errors and then gracefully retired before I got eliminated as I had a complete brain fart.

Late to the thread per usual. I love the EquiTest 3. I use it all the time. I also have the Equi Sketch but I don't use it. I guess it would be OK if you were writing your own test. It might be just the thing for Eireamon as you can put in your own tests and then follow them.

Hi, i was reading on facebook about a new program that has just been released.
It's not an iphone app, but apparently it does work on a smartphone via a web browser or something like that. I've not tried it myself, but looking at the videos and screenshots on their website, it looks like it could be quite good. I don't think you can buy tests though.
