Default Who Else Got Their Kids ANOTHER Pony For Christmas?

I confess... I got another pony today

He is leased though so at least I am not totally mad..

A really awesome smallish large packer pony, nearly in my backyard, became available. So we picked him up this afternoon!

I am hoping my son will want to ride him. He gave him a big hug when he got here so we will see. Otherwise LMEqT and guests can ride him.

It sounds crazy but feels right. He reminds me of Nanny

    Anyone else?

Well... kind of. I bought myself a new QH mare to show and am letting my youngest daughter ride and show her along with her Appy gelding. They took a first in English pleasure at their first show last weekend : )))

She calls her "her horse" all of the time, so I guess I bought one of my kids another "pony" for Christmas, LOL!

I don't have kids, but I'm going with a friend of mine and some other girls on Monday to find one for a client's beginner type student...sort of a girls' road trip. If you know of any 15 year-ish medium-larges that are great nanny ponies the area I'd love it if you let me know.

    Merry Christmas!

    do donkeys and grandkids count??

lol...i took the 2 large mini donks that were offered on the giveaway.......one spotted, one has those fantastic zebra stripes on her legs.....both are THE cutest things on wheels....do i need more??.........good lord, no...but my justification is that my animal loving grandson will ride them, and his little sister will ride in the near future...lol...
oh, and they are species-like buddies for MY riding donk, who is odd man out with the mule and horses...

NEVER got anything like animals as a kid, so am living out my own dreams now!

Bought my step-daughter a really fancy large. The kid is just learning and this guy is a SAINT! We went out for a Christmas trail ride and she jumped 2'6" for the first time...over a big log! I also bought myself a horse for Christmas...couldn't be left out! I got a coming 4yo Hungarian Warmblood that will hopefully be my A/O Hunter.

And you cannot post this without including pics, silly!

Merry Christmas to you and your clan!

Pssssshhhh. Pony for my KIDS? Pony for ME!!!!!

I always laugh when people ask my daughter holding the lead of a pony if it's hers..... NO. Don't be silly. Ponies are for grownups! The pony is mine!!!!!

(Not that she doesn't have her own -- she does, and she loves them, but not with the burning, white hot passion her mother does.)

    YAY for new ponies!

And can I add a YAY for enabling clients who find cool ponies?
Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.
