Default Share Your Cat in Christmas Trees/Decorations/Seasonal Stuff Pictures Here

To start out with, here is Coda in the Christmas cactus. Looks all innocent and sweet.

    http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...tus5100411.jpg

I have better cat/Christmas stuff photos, including trees, but they are older, so will have to hunt them tonight.

I keep a small ceramic tree at this stage. Unchaseable.

Okay, here are a few from just last week when I was putting up the my little unchaseable tree.

And a shot of Sammy exiting the tree back when I used to have a full tree years and years ago.

Cute outfits, but it always amazes me that people are able to dress up their cats like this. I have cats who would shred me and then the costume of choice in no time. I guess there are more "stage-friendly" cats out there, though. Do your cats object to the process, or do they seem to like it?

My cat Finnegan loves this time of year... tree skirts are his natural habitat.

Fortunately I have more than one tree in the house, and lots of "snow" to lounge on....

Not a tree, but he does personally inspect every box I send out or receive - someone has to supervise quality control of gifts!

Here is a picture of my daughter's cat when he was a kitten, being very patient:

I've never had a cat interested in getting into the tree! I guess I should be grateful, but MAN, these pictures are cute.

DT, I'm think I'm most shocked that you actually have a healthy looking Christmas Cactus in your house full of cats. Those things get eaten to little nubs around here, just days after I bring them home.

I pepper all of my plants. Makes them non-nibbly.

I have had a few rare cats who enjoyed plant sitting (in the pepper), but they leave the leaves alone. The Christmas cactus is all full of blooms right now. Beautiful.

The more frequent plant CATastrophe occurs when one is a casualty of a chase and gets knocked over.

This is one of my foster kittens from 2009. It looks like he's gazing wistfully at the angel, making his Christmas wish, but look carefully in the tree directly across from him. They were playing hide and seek in the tree.

Another foster kitten - she loved to climb up to the top and attack the angel.

This is Snickers - one of my five. She's the only girl in a sea of boys and is quite full of herself. Here's she's testing the ornaments for safety. (hahaha)

Jellybean (Snickers brother), learning that Christmas trees make very good hiding and pouncing places. Poor Snickers. lol

Thomas & Sunny are very laid back about the tree. Thomas likes to lay under it on the skirt and Sunny has to always chew on it a few times before he realizes that it isn't a real tree.

Here's a glimpse of Thomas as he hunts his comfy place under the tree.

Eta - you guys have some adorable cats & kittens! I love animals and Christmas trees

This is Tabitha cat last Christmas. I lost her to kidney disease this Fall. My daughter and I are always dressing up the cats. They usually don't mind as long as we don't leave the stuff on for too long. Build-A-Bear clothes work great for cats and I occasionally crochet them things like the Santa hat and sweater that Tabitha is wearing.

I can't believe some of you are able to dress your cats. Mine turn into scissor pawed spawns of satan at the very thought of clothing on them!

I tried it one year on Thomas and Sunny. Thomas acted like he was choking to death and poor Sunny was so scared he nearly hung himself by the collar trying to get away from me.

Snickers, Jellybean and Sammy would be a suicide mission. I have to lay on them with them screaming the whole time just to put Advantage on them.

Bird, I'm sorry you lost Tabitha. She's a very pretty girl. My Thomas was diagnosed with kidney failure in September of this year. I need to take more pictures of him while he's doing good.
