Default Showing in "Real" Dressage - Small Brag! - Update - Video Link

I have an Arabian/Quarter Horse cross gelding, Legend of Fire, that we've been showing in the Arabian breed shows in dressage for a year. If you are familiar with the Arabian Horse Association's honors program, let me tell you that he has earned him Legion of Honor in one year, doing dressage and sport horse in hand, and sport horse under saddle, which is the AHA version of "Suitable for Dressage" mixed in with "Hunter Under Saddle". Anyway....

Several people at clinics have told us how much they like him, and urged us to do 'real' dressage at a USDF/USEF show which isn't breed restricted. So..... we went to Aiken with our trainer, Robin Ginn. They did Training 1 and Training 3 on both Saturday and Sunday, with different judges each time. Here are his scores:

    65.600%, 66.000%, 72.030%, AND - woo hoo - 73.900%.

I'm so proud of my pony!

I'd say that's some pretty real dressage. Congratulations!

The pics don't have to be of the specific show! I have an Arabian myself and always love to see other Arabians in the dressage ring

I am friends with Robin and saw the facebook post about how well Legend did! That is excellent. As a Half Arab owner myself, I am always thrilled to see our guys go out and play in the sand box with the other horses and do well!!

This is a year old, from last November, with my sister riding him. She was a returning rider after a couple of decades off, and she has done a great job with Legend.
