Thumbs up Purina Equine Senior coupon!

Just an FYI for those don't normally subscribe to horse magazines, you might want to pick up this month's Equus (and probably in other mags too). There's a great coupon ($10 off two bags) for Purina Equine Senior or Active Senior. Expires mid January.

Even better coupon online. But you have to take their "quiz" and give them an email address. Lands you a $10 coupon off one bag.

Just google Purina Senior quiz coupon and you will find it.

I just printed out the coupon and you can get 2 of them before it cuts you off. So $20 off 2 bags of feed is serious savings.

You can also sign up for the Purina rewards program and you get coupons every quarter. You get to print off two $5 coupons for feed, and two $2 coupons for Dobbins Delights horse treats. Every quarter you get new coupons.

The $10 coupon is also in Horse & Rider. Last week I used $40 in Purina coupons.

I just used a $10 coupon off a bag at TSC. I also had their store coupon for 10% off my entire purchase. So that $18.99 bag of Sr cost me $7.09. I also have a coupon for TSC for 15% off my entire purchase on family night for Dec 5th.. Will use the other $10 coupon then and that means the next bag will cost me $6.14.

We all have something to be grateful for and I am grateful going into holiday shopping season that feeding my old horse is not costing me an arm and a leg.

I've been using the coupons from magazines (I subscribe to six!) as well as from online sources. I'd say it's saved me about 120 dollars in the past few months. I hope they keep it up! My horses do well on this feed, but it is not the cheapest feed out there. Really helps in this economy to have a few ways to save!

Can I brag a little?! Purina did that photo shoot at our barn, with my daughter and her "heart" horse. I jokingly told my friends that the photographers said two things I will probably never again hear in a barn:
"Hair and makeup at 7:30 a.m." and "catered lunch at 1"! It was a fun day

Is your daughter the pretty girl with the ponytail on the bay horse? WOW! That's great! What a cool thing to have your farm in a magazine ad.....

Hmmmm--maybe there's more than one ad. Ours has a big photo of Sporty looking to the right, and a panel of small ones showing him being saddled, galloping, and jumping. No ponytails, just her in a helmet. They did bring in a western girl with a lovely bay horse for some additional pictures--perhaps that's also been published.
