Well I guess my old trainer was right.....the saddle is just a strip of leather strapped to the horse to make us feel more secure, anything we do with it we should be able to do without it......

    Holy velcro cheeks batman!

    Same here!

It seems like a lot of people have jumped bareback over some very tall jumps this year! What is up with that?? I don't remember hearing about it so much in the past.

Maybe it's just that more people have cameras/phones with video capabilities, so the evidence gets posted much more often now?

Anyone else miss that show The Sopranos? Don't know why I thought of it all of a sudden.

Well, with or without a saddle, I can tell you what Lucky would say if I pointed him at that wall: "You first!" (And I wouldn't want to so much as pop him over a crossrail bareback-I have a good leg, I'm sure I'd say on fine, until I slammed into his incredibly bony withers and got SOME idea what guys feel like when they're kicked in the gentleman's area.)

I'm just impressed with any horse who gets over anything THAT HIGH. Seriously, what Catersun said, what do you need to keep that horse in? Deer fencing?

It takes big brass ones to jump that high bareback...

    WOW!

That horse is extremely tall looking - anyone know how big it is?

Wonder if he's wearing a cricket box (or whatever they call them here).
