    Default just bought welsh/tb colt

    i just bought a welsh/tb 10 month old colt. looked up the sire. i have never heard of him. anyone want to add an input on him.

    well he just looks like a kinda common TB...it may be more helpful to talk about the Welsh end of the blood....now that I could talk about :>

    I would expect good sport from this stallion, Tree of Knowledge is by Sassafras who is to Precipitation, one of the fine lines to find for sport. Double Turn-To through two good sources, Red Ransom and Tree of Knowledge. Ribot and Damascus are common but a good thing. His X chromosome comes from Gold Digger. PatO

    I have owned a horse distantly related to this one through Sassafras for the last 11 years---my guy has Evented through intermediate (schooled to go advanced and good to go). He is 18 this year and has carried two PC'ers to their "A" ratings--very very good horse and very sound. As long as you let him do his job and stayed of "his way" he was/is a showjumping/cross country machine. His one drawback was Tension in the dressage phase---but was and still is very competitive.
