Default Fashion Advice- Can I get away with this?

I found a jacket that I fell in love with. It is a grey tweed with a hint of rust and blue. Can I get away with wearing this in the show ring? I know it will be hot so I was thinking of using it for those early march shows where it is still chilly. I know it is more appropriate for the hunt field it is just so darn pretty!

There is no reason you can't wear it to show in, as long as you don't mind being a bit different. Personally I think it would look fantastic, but I'm the type who hates the way everyone looks like clones of each other in the show ring. No judge is going to penalize you for it. Buy it and enjoy it. I'll bet you will get lots of compliments.

I would wear it with a pale blue shirt and rust breeches too.

You absolutely cannot get away with that. You'd better send it to me and I can get rid of it for you.

Totally kidding. That sounds lovely! As BAC suggested, rust breeches and a light blue shirt would look really sharp with it.

How tweed does it look, REALLY tweedy? It's not disallowed but you WILL stick out. Plus, won't you just sweat like crazy?

Here is the link to the jacket: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190605319172...#ht_500wt_1202

For $20 I don't think I can go wrong! I don't think I will wear it during really hot summer shows but early in the season I will definitely break it out!

This is a picture of my guy, I think it will look pretty snazzy! http://www.ashleyhoffmanphotography....0270161-Th.jpg

If by any chance you get it and it doesn't fit you, I'll buy it from you.

I have a very similar one and get compliments on it all the time. It is outrageously hot though, perfect for winter shows! I think I paid $300 for mine, on sale probably 7 or 8 years ago, you can't beat $20!
