Default Help me horse shop? For something 2-4 y/o....

I'd love your help/another set of eyeballs looking over some of the Canter Cuties and Finger Lake lovlies. I figure this would be the best place to look as a lot of you already have a Canter Cutie or Finger Lakes Finest of your own. As far as the Canter regions go, I'd be interested in something from PA or Mid Atlantic. I'd really prefer a mare, and of course for hunter/jumper stuff. Has to be at least 15.2hh, but would prefer something 16hh+. Here's a cutie I just found on Finger Lakes.....

UPDATE: So after seeing a bunch of older horses with what looks to be a ton of wear and tear, I'm much more interested in maybe some prospective breeders/farms that have younger horses available? I don't mind having to start/break something in the spring.

I'm a huge fan of Finger Lakes, as thats where I got my mare.
I think this little sweetie pie could be rather promising:

Keep 'em coming ladies! I like the mare on NV and the FL boards, except the FL mare is going to be too small. And the NV mare isn't as huntery of a mover as I'd like.

Concerning Sunshine Richard.... when the people at that track say, "he can be reactive" along with the words "young and powerful".... well... to me that says he's spooky as shit and you will need a parachute and possibly an oxygen tank... Or he's like riding a cross between a gorilla and a helium balloon...

Woody is cute, but he's five and has done nothing... on the bright side he's very inexpensive and kind of cute.

I like the big bay mare. Our Jenea, except she looks pretty straight in the pasterns to me... could be the pictures. Worth a look.

Too bad you don't want to come to CA. This trainer seems to have a lot of nice horses. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

and this mare has nicce bloodlines and I'd bet it better in person than the pictures. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

O.k. I started looking at the MidAtlantic CANTER horses... Holy Moly there are nice horses on there... and some already do other stuff!

    I like this mare http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I know you said mares, but OMG! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

O.k. she's not very hunter-y, but she's actually been ridden out with the hounds and jumped over little logs! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

Another gelding... you'd need to rehab a bow, but he's free, and handsom, and nicely bred... he has Raja Baba in there! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

OH, Oh, OH!!! check her out! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

From Mountaineer: Was posted today... I'd bet he's already sold, but... http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

    Another nice gelding http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I can't watch video because I have dial up and the picture isn't good, but she's $500 and there's something interesting about her... http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I'm going to throw him in here because I think it's sad that he's been listed so long... he's handsom enough http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

Has jumped the 4ft pasture fences... http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

Back to mares... this one doesn't completely knock my socks off, but she's cute and FREE. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I know she's a bit down hill, but I'd bet she's about to grow. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I know we've all heard about the chestnut TB mares with lots of white! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

Not sure I love this mares hind end... http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I love the discription on this one... makes me want to go see him. There are some good horses in his pedigree. Plus they have four lovely geldings pictured in front of the same barn, so you wouldn't go all that way just to see one horse. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

O.k. now I'm looking at Delaware... honestly I don't know why anyone on that coast would bother with warmbloods... I've now become that poster that I hate, you know, the one that posts about a million links...

I was going to stop... really, but I love a handsom mare! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

Like him... I love his face and bareback in a halter? Wow! http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

I've been trying not to put him in because of his ankles... but.I.can't.help.it... http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

Kind of a plain head and way over priced, but cute, and sounds like my kinda horse... slow... http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

A little pigeon breasted, but FREE with a cute head. Horrible name. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

This one's a cute little thing... clearly fancy bloodlines don't mean they'll run fast. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

One last gelding... he just looks like a pleasant kind of guy. http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?o...ainer-listings

    I promise I'll stop now...
