    Default MH Terra Nova?

Anyone seen these or have them?

Why don't more companies make functional, sporty, rugged tall boots?

I know, I was surprised by that.... since they have a similar boot called the Ridge which has a spanish top that was apparently only sold those in the UK and Europe last year. You'd think those would appeal more to an American market, as opposed to these with a shorter shaft.

However, I have damage to the veins in the back of my right leg due to a blood clot, and therefore have a hard time with boots and chaps that usually hit right at that spot. So for me.... the shorter top is a bonus.

Don't have them.. but want them! I think the design is pretty similar to the old Sportive High Riders, which I do own. I love love love my SHRs - they hold up sooo well (I tend to abuse my boots a little.. ridden in daily and hosed/wiped down often with just water). Super comfortable, didn't take long to break in, and have held up better than any high $$ boot I've ever owned. I'd really love to get a pair of the brown Terra Nova's for everyday. Let us know how you like them if you decide to buy!

I like those! They look like they'd be good for my short legs.

Well, 123tack.com was offering 15% off any order over 100.00 so I ordered a pair. Might as well try them as I have been considering them since they were first in Dover. Worst case I send them back. Hope they look and fit as good as they do in the pics. I am a bit over my half chaps and paddocks in this muddy weather.

    Happy riding,

So I got them. The foot bed is nice. The leather is not what I expected. Somehow it feels cardboard like. Not sure what I was exactly expecting...something with more of an athletic feel. Disappointing. Back they go!

Ah good to know chebeau. I did wonder about the leather, as they reminded me of some MH chaps I had years ago that had a very similar look.

    Thanks for updating!
