Jingles needed...
My big, stupid bull terrier found himself at the wrong end of an aggressive dog today and was split open pretty good with some nasty puncture wounds. He's at work with me and will have surgery in the AM but I'm still heartbroken. Its funny I can handle other people's dogs all day...but nearly wanted to faint as we were prepping mine.
I'm a very worried mom

I'm sorry! He'll come through it fine and be ok soon, sometimes you know too much when you end up with your own dog on the table!
Jingles for him!

I do know the dog. He's epileptic and possibly got a brain tumor thats caused some erratic behavior in him. Its my fault for leaving them unattended for as long as it was going to take for me to plug my phone onto the charger. I feel responsible but it happens that fast. Together they're perfectly fine, when being watched.
He is recovering from surgery now and doing well. He has a JP drain...I have NO idea how I'll keep him still enough to keep that in place but our biggest worry now is just infected tissue. Hopefully he'll be OK. Not happy that he's my patient tonight, but happy he's MINE and I can be here with him as opposed to worrying all night. Thanks for the thoughts...I suppose there's never really a point to posting about it on here but it made me feel better.

O holey bull
Your tubes are proudly dripping
This is the day you regret what you did
O holey bull
Your scars are brightly throbbing
The pain appeared and then so did the meds...
To the tune of O Holy Night. Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, now its bedtime and you haven't checked in.Hoping Sir Bullishness is coming along-jingle jingle....

Jingles for Catfish (I'm guessing that's who it is, right?)!
And we all know that he's in the best hands for a good recovery!

Jingles from me and my JRT, who was at the wrong end of an agressive Rottweiler yesterday, but luckily walked away not needing surgery- we think she's just really sore from being chomped on and having small puncture wounds. we can definitely relate to your stresses!!!

That song is HILARIOUS! And too true. The cap on his Jackson-Pratt keeps popping open and he's dribbling blood, it is thoroughly disgusting.
Thanks for the jingles. He's doing OK, we've warded off major infection up until this point and his legs are heeling.
I am SO sorry to hear that Pink-especially on a baby as small as JRT. So lucky that your girl wasn't hurt worse...I hope she patches up soon!
And yep, its Catfish, it could be no other.

Catfish spends his days laid out stoned and smiling while Tovin, who I do love, drives me absolutely batcrap crazy bringing me things and smashing into things around the house because he has no one to play with.
