My friend is always so shy about promoting her wonderful imported Hanoverian stallion, Widmark. But he really stamps his offspring in terms of movement, conformation, friendliness and rideability. I have another foal coming this spring. See their web site and you'll see what I mean: www.oakwoodhanoverian.com
I am getting another one of Corlando's babies this year (I have a 2 year old already) and breeding back to him with a leased mare... My TB mare is in foal to Down The Aisle and will be bred back if I like the foal enough...
...such are the horses on which gods and heroes ride.
Here is a picture of Groms an Imported Russian Latvian Stallion that I owned and stood before he passed away.......and from him I had many successful youngsters, in all disciplines, hunter, jumper and dressage.
Here is a picture of his son GromKiev, an approved and licensed RPSI Class 1 Stallion , out of my stunning Trakehner mare Isella. He is making his way through the levels in Dressage as part of his performance requirements. Currently at 5yrs old, he will be showing next spring at Thrird level....Wish us Luck !!!
Stillpoint...I saw Groms after I had bred, he was beautiful. I can't wait to see what Gromkiev does.
My Sophie's father is a TB, Osiris, you can see both Soph and Ozzy at www.shanyn.org/Osiris.html I think there is about 1 picture on that page that actually does him justice, however, we are amateur photographers, and make no claims otherwise. To see my Soph, just click on Sweet Sophistication on the sidebar.
Gitta would never forgive me if I didn't include her, she sees herself as a covergirl. She is also by Groms and out of a beautiful Trakehner mare that I own who is half sister to Kiev's dam, Isella, both mares are by the Trakehner Stallion Fabius, whom I really like........
Gitta started her under saddle career late but here is a photo of her first month in boot camp, being a wonderful filly. She will debut this spring in the Dressage ring doing the Materiale classes and then go up the levels and be my competition horse.
I have two mares in foal to the 17.2 hand TB stallion we are standing at my farm this year, Rosillo Grande. Both mares are retired A circuit hunters and over 16.3 hands themselves, so we are very anxiously awaiting the foals!
we've been having website issues, but by the end of the day it should be working again.
