Default I know Twilight is popular...

But, this is a little rediculous

And his new barn name is "Edward"
    I wonder if he sparkles...

Breaking Dawn is a beautiful name! I'd name my horse that, but since it is now automatically related to Twilight... bleh!

It was in relation to the movies. The article says Breaking Dawn's barn name is Edward, and she has another mare name New Moon or Bella. Her husband is involved with the production of the movies.

    "rediculous" is what "ridiculous" does.

I really hate Twilight, but I do have to admit that Breaking Dawn is a much better name than Ultiem's Flemming.

Still, I really really hate Twilight and I just can't root for horses named after it.

because of this ^ I can only conclude that changing the horse's name was part of a sponsorship agreement.
it's not like the family that redecorated their livingroom to reflect the latest twilight movie that was featured on Color Splash on HGTV... that was weird.

ROFL, at least it's probably not she's a squealing fangirl but that the movies paid for the horses!

Everytime I see or hear "re-diculous" I can't help thinking, "Hhhhmmm, diculous again, eh?"

I will never forget the WEG performance when Ashley mid-test turned to the judge at C during piaffe and eerily gave a great, big smile. I hope with this horse she puts in some faux fangs for even more dramatic effect!

Holy cow, it says the horse only learned flying changes six weeks ago!

How do you take a horse to Grand Prix in six weeks?

He won at I2 with 70% at the NEDA Fall show in September, so he certainly knows his changes. Perhaps they meant starting one tempis?

For what it's worth, I met Edward the horse at the NEDA show. He doesn't sparkle (Is this a movie reference? I confess I've missed the entire Twilight phenomenon.), though he has a charming personality, and he loves treats just like every other horse.

I wonder how anyone reads that particular name without laughing. It is the most awkward combination name ever.

Grey, in the Twilight series vampires can go out in sunlight but they sparkle. Consider yourself lucky that you have missed out.

Yeah, they are popular, but man, are they poorly written (the books). I don't care much for Anne Rice's angsty stuff (that she now disavows), but at least it was competently written, but the Twilight stuff......

And why all the fan passion for Pattison now? Nice guy, attractive if you like the type, but I never heard anything like that when he was in Harry Potter or any of the other movies he's made. At least his performance in Water for Elephants was more worthy of admiration.

Frankly, every time I hear/see the commercials for "Breaking Dawn.." I think.....giggle,giggle "Breaking wind....." (Yes, childish, but really, the over-the-top squealing for Justin Bieber type fandom just is so....mmm...tweenage - not even TEENAGE).+
