Man Drags Horse Behind Truck on Gravel Road
You know, there are some people I have no compunction about taking off the face of this earth. This guy just went to the top of my list.

A Vian, Okla., man has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly using an all-terrain vehicle to drag a horse down a gravel road.
Sequoyah County, Okla., Sheriff Ron Lockhart said that on Nov. 10 Sheriff's Department personnel responded to a call about an injured horse. Upon arriving at the scene they discovered the severely injured animal tied to a tree. Deputies later learned that the horse's owner, Reuben Houston, had allegedly tied the horse to a 4-wheeler and dragged it down a gravel road. Due to the severity of its injuries, the horse was euthanized by a veterinarian, Lockhart said.
Houston was later charged with animal cruelty. He is free on bond, Lockhart said.
Additional charges may be pending, Lockhart said.
Houston was unavailable for comment.

I'd like to describe what I want to do to the guy but I'm sure it isn't legal.

He shouldn't be free on bond. He should be locked up for his own protection...

yup. That's just sick
When I first saw the title of the thread I thought it was somehow accidental; this seems intentional. I can't fathom how anyone could do something like that to a horse, purposely.

Why don't we all call/write/email the animal control, DA's office for this county & let our voices be heard.
Then we can take turns dragging this trash down gravel roads until he's a bloody pulp.

I will be calling that office tomorrow. I also posted this on facebook. This piece of crap deserves every bit of punishment possible.

Looks like he has something wrong with him, doesn't it.

Welcome to Oklahoma. I've seen some of the worst horse abuse I've seen in my whole life since moving to Ok six years ago!! Horses are "livestock" for the most part and treated like sh**!! Poor horse. At least he isn't suffering any more.

Nothing wrong with being livestock.
There are laws against mistreatment of livestock.

Sicko. The article says he drug it behind an ATV. Was it a pony rather than a horse. Seems like it would be hard to pull a full sized horse behind an ATV.
