Default Eric Lamaze and Herald 3

Stallion son of Heraldik was ridden by Lamaze at the Royal last night.

I wonder if he'll be a breeding stallion as was Hickstead? Horse is 13.

This is an approved holsteiner. There are conversations on him archived here. He has jumped in the super league. My sense is that if he is permitted to breed, he could be a significant stallion.

Damsire Lorenz figures directly into the tail female lines of some very athletic horses...VDL Flemmingh, Eurocommerce Dubai, Cortado, Calico, Lagunas...

I'm thinking that with his breeding he could be an EXCELLENT sire for event horses out of TB mares.

Yes. I've started some previous threads on here about him -- and that was exactly my point.

Agree -- if he is available, he'll be near the top of our list for 2012.

I spoke to Eric about Herald a week or two ago and his owners do not intend to stand him at stud since they bought the horse for their daughter to compete. Eric is taking the horse to a few shows until the daughter has time to compete the horse.
