Default Addicted to Big Bang Theory & That 70's Show

I've never been one for sitcoms until my husband turned me on to these two shows. Of course, That 70's Show is in re-runs now, but I never watched it the first time around~ how could I miss out on something so groovy & hysterical?

And Big Bang Theory? It's on TBS now every nite~ lots of episodes, plus new ones on Thursdays~ I love it! Who would have thought that science geeks could be so funny?

Science geeks are my crowd : It's kind of nice to get some of the obscure references on Big Bang. And I've always been a fan of the guy that plays Leonard, dark curly headed geeks always get me

You can watch Ashton Kutcher playing essentially that same character again on what's left of Two and a half men. I wasn't wild about that character the first time around.

I love Big Bang Theory too, have loved it from the very 1st episode! it's been a few years now, and I worry how long they can keep coming up with good/funny episodes. So far so good!

    Love Modern Family too.

Another lover of BBT. I'm not usually able to watch it, but I have the first 3 seasons on DVD and love watching those!

The quality of BBT has been uneven this season, but last night's episode -- with Sheldon and his "Lovey Dovey" -- was outstanding!

Me too. I have to admit, the posters of the "missing" bird had me ROTFLMAO. Every time Leonard and Penny would climb another flight and there would be another poster (LARGE REWARD) with the same picture of Sheldon and Lovey Dovey, I would crack up. Every character is just so well-drawn (although Howard kind of grates on me. My husband is jewish and it's not the stereotypes, it's that he kind of reminds me of Quagmire on Family Guy).

But yeah, I don't know what it is about this show - the combination of the academic atmosphere (I totally work with these people - it's like The Office for geeks), the way the characters relate to each other, and the writing. Bazinga!

Another BBT fan. The guys are hilarious and the way Penny releates to them is great. I also like when she said they had ruined her for "regular" guys.

I am also liking Amy ad Bernadette. I can so relate to many of the geek jokes.

Guilty! The worst thing that could've ever happened was for shows like BBT and 2 and a Half Men to go into syndication so that I can watch them on multiple channels any given night of the week. And I do. My DH comes in the room and sees me watching one of these shows and says "AGAIN!?" and grumbles as he goes to find another TV. heehee

Huge TBB fan. My dogs are named after Star Trek characters. As Weird Al says, I'm white and nerdy lol And Kaley (Penny) rides jumpers. Brave as can be. She shattered her ankle last year in a fall, and all she wanted to do was get back in the saddle.

    Isn't he beautiful?

DH and I used to watch That 70s Show reruns during dinner. We've now seen all of them. We recently discovered that The Big Bank Theory is on during dinner and watch that now. We also watch the new episodes on Thursday nights. Great shows! I tend not to watch many new shows when they're on. I guess I'm the syndication queen.
