Very few of the ads posted in the pets section are from individuals trying to re-home the family pet.
GRRRR!
YES. it grates my nerves to read something like, 'purebred yorkie puppies 7 week old, 125 rehoming fee. '
ARRRRGH!
MrB's attempt at talking like a horse person, "We'll be entering in the amateur hunter-gatherer division...."

HAHA LOVE THIS!
We have Kijiji here in Canada. I was just yesterday, telling my co worker how much the ad's burn my hiney.
Yesterday was, a 14 y/o girl who states she has broken and trained several horses who have gone on to sucessfull show careers looking for an "A" circuit horse for free lease, must be atleast 16 hands or greater, 6-12 y/o, passported, shod, and registered.
But that is not all! She expects said owner of this horse to pay for boarding at her coaches barn.
I get it that some people need their horses excercised but expecting someone to give you a horse to ride at their expense especially an 'A' rated horse in their prime years, forget it.

LOL I think there was a recent trainwreck on here starring a similar kid whose expectations exceeded her skills (wanted a free lease on a Maclay-caliber horse).
But I can't dis CL because my horse was found on CL by someone who passed on him, but who took pictures and sent them around, and I got lucky.
Another gal was perusing the ads to list her dressage saddle, saw an ad for a feed lease at the local stable, ended up buying the horse and keeping the saddle.
I have bought and sold tack on CL. I love it.
2012 goal: learn to ride like a Barn Rat
A helmet saved my life.

Wait on that. I found a very fancy rehab project on CL and it was the easiest rehab ever. He's sound, we win and win and with bad rounds, still get good ribbons in competitive N. California. I beat the pros in the Low Open divisions. The only thing holding us back from "national level" is my budget or lack there of. Found him on a fluke, just thought I'd check out Craigslist one nite.
Ya gotta look. The treasures are out there.
My treasures do not chink, nor glitter. They carry me to great heights, they gleam in the sun, and they neigh in the night. That is my life, at the end of the day.

he is black and white, with a bald face. he has been trained for multiple dissiplins, he was trained for dressage - he prances and jumps sideways a lot
and started on phressage - I took him to a Natural Horsemanship clinic
,he has also been trained for hunt seat, - he runs really fast
3ft jumps, - right out of his pasture
and western plesure, - I do this on a nationalleavel- (need we say more?)
but hold your breath, thats not all... he also!!!! works cattle!!! - he lives in a pasture with cows (might explain the jump out), for ranch riding and on farm....this horse is awsome, -
he would be great for trailriding if I could only get back on him after falling off
he has Been used for shows including saddle club, 4-h an schooling shows and more, he has placed every year in his show circuts, - there were only three horses in our backyard show and he got a yellow ribboncurrently he is at northern hope riding academy i springfield tennessee, - because he wont get on the trailer so I cant move himhe has Been used as a lesson horse, for begginer to advanced riders from ages 2 to 60...- I put my neighbors kid and grandmother on him once, the lawsuit should be settled soon
he has what your looking for in a horse, beauty, higth, great confrimation, - confrimation is when they are swaybacked, under at the knees, and one hind foot turns out causing that unique western pleasure gait - my vet confirmed it
THIS! lol same here

My favorite thing to see on CL is when a person lists his/her horse as being 15.9 hands tall.

I'm more amused than annoyed.
I once saw an ad for a "grain broke" 2yr old quarter horse.

I saw a 14.5 stallion for sale not that long ago
If you think your stallion is 14.5, then he should probably be a gelding!

This is great! I find this more funny then annoying! I don't have great grammar or spelling but it's not that bad.
Just a idea but do you think he might have been talking about Passage?
If you don't have anything nice to say about someone, come sit by me.
