    Jersey girl!

Default Need help with Neck Cover sizing.

So my horse is wearing size 84" blanket. We have mostly rambo supremes, and one rambo XL. All of which come with neck covers in the biggest rambo size XL. Unfortunately they are too small. Just way too tight around the neck. He is clipped and goes out rain or shine, so I really want him to have a neck cover.

Can anyone recommend a brand that makes the neck covers larger? TIA!!!

Schneiders' XL neck covers are supposed to fit size 82-86.

Just wondering if you could add some velcro to the existing neck cover to make it a bit larger.

I have actually threaded clips through the velcro on my neck covers for easy on/off instead of undoing the velcro each time. While it isn't as snug around the neck, I think the horses stay just as warm in it. I also love how fast I can undo blankets that way, too.

I've used 2" D shape clip for the attachment end and a snap type clip so I can do it without taking my gloves off.
