In what movie does a non-horsey father's mistaken bareback ride lead to the horse's trip to the Washington International Horse Show (I think, that's the jist I remember...it's old/obscure enough there isn't even a plot synopsis on IMDB!)

Radar gave him the horse, and the horse was Sophie. Hawkeye, BJ and Radar found her wounded. She was donated to an orphanage when the war ended. I remember the colic episode. Margaret had appendicitis in the same episode.

Col. Potter gave Sophie away twice. Besides the final episode where she was given to the orphanage, who was the other person she was given to?

Sophie was given to a retired Korean Colonel who was on his death bed. When the man died a short while after his ride, the daughter gave Sophie back to Potter.

Once you figure out the name of the movie, there are clips on YouTube. They're definitely worth watching.

I've always wanted a black arab to name Shetan. And no it doesn't have to be a stallion!
