MidAtlantic Equitation Festival - PG Equestrian Center
We saw the flyer up for this at the WIHS Regional Show this past weekend. But the email on the flyer doesn't work to request a prizelist, and it's not clear whether it's in Nov 2011 or 2012. Website indicates 2012 but M&S show schedule has 2011 and 2012.
Anybody have any info they can share? Doing some checking around the web it looks like you need to qualify to attend.
Thank you for the interest in the horse show and please visit our website for further information about the Mid Atlantic Equitation Fesival, Nov 17 - 18 at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD midatlanticeq.com
I'm helping do some promo for this show, so anyone who wants to PM, email, or Facebook me any questions or requests, please do.
The horse show is a USEF Local Member horse show and offers a U.S. Medal Class, ASPCA Maclay Class, USEF Talent Search, WIHS Equitation Jumper Phase, Ariat Adult Medal, Farnham Adult Medal, THIS Children’s Medal and M & S Children’s Horse Medal, in addition to trainer and collegiate honors.
The qualifying specs for the Mid Atlantic Finals classes are as follows: Both Mid Atlantic Equitation Festival Medal Final classes are open to riders who have won a national, regional, or local association equitation medal class at a fence height of 2’9” or above in NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, or NC (USEF Zones 2 and 3) between August 1, 2011 up to October 1, 2012.
Thank you to the exhibitors, trainers, family and especially the organizers.
Thank you to everyone who came to the Inaugural Mid Atlantic Equitation Festival. It was great to see how close the top riders in each section for the Finals were. Alan did a great job with the courses. They gave riders options so they could choose where they wanted to "show off".
Congratulations to Caitlin Lane on winning the Adult Finals. Her test definitely won it for her. If anyone has seen Caitlin's saddle you'll agree she needed a new one.
Kendall Casaccio won the Young Rider Finals. The top 4 riders were all close so. To quote someone I over heard "Her test was slick."
It was a great show. We were happy to partner with the horse show and will definitely do it again next year.
