Default Filing a protest... after the fact?

I have gone through the rules from front to back and top to bottom, and I can't seem to find the reference...

Can anyone tell me how someone could file a protest or grievance about something that happened at a show, well after the show has occurred? (and more importantly, where this is addressed in the USEF/USDF rules)

My understanding is that once a show is *over* then all concerns about that show should have been voiced/settled, right?

Well, all the processes are covered in USEF GR601 to GR606 - and of course it's not written in simple english, so it takes a while to interpret clearly.

Basically it says you have 48 hours to 10 business days, depending on how you approach it, to file a protest.
