Default Need an Equine Liability Waiver that works in New York

    Help

I'm trying to find the proper wording for an Equine Liability Waiver that is proper for NEW YORK. Need it for someone whom will possibly ride/try and/or lease my horse.

It's my understanding that New York is one of the states that does not have an Equine Activity Statute like the other states do. It is also my understanding that that waiver is meaningless without proper wording and compliance with applicable state law; and that's why I need the New York language for equine liability.

I would appreciate any help on this.

I would contact a lawyer. If you do not have the EAS like most states, I'd be very wary of proceeding without actual legal advice.

Agreed, contact a lawyer, and even the EAS doesn't protect you fully either for the states that do have it.
