My gelding is a strange fit. He's a bit low in the back, has reasonably high withers that tie into a high set neck, and a long sloping shoulder. He's only about 16hh and not as stout as a draft but definitly not narrow... Any suggestions?
I've been looking at the Schneider's Fitted V-Free trying to decide if the contour fit would be best for his less than ideal back conformation. I worry that if I get a regular fit blanket that it's going to wrinkle and bunch up behind his withers. :S
My name is Halle and I work for Schneiders Saddlery. I wanted to let you know that the StormShield® Classic Euro Midweight blanket could be a great fit for your horse. You can check this blanket out by clicking on this link.
That blanket would also be an excellent choice. You do get more wither and shoulder protection. This blanket gives more coverage and it has a contoured sealed back seam to fit the horse’s conformation.

I think I'll go with the Vtek V-Free, either the Stormshield Marathon or Evergreen. I need to go to my trainer's and get an accurate measurement on my guy this weekend. Anyone know of any online coupons or free shipping deals, etc. for Schneiders?
