    Default Beer?

A year ago, my horse stopped sweating. After acupuncture (and moving back to West TX from Central TX), he started sweating again. He's on One AC, and in the summer months when he's being worked hard, he gets beer in his food to "encourage" him to sweat more.

Does beer test? Should I NOT use it at an event/before an event?

    On the horse, that is!

Yes. It contains ethyl alcohol, which is a prohibited substance found in alcoholic beverages consumed by human beings. Some beers contain additional ingredients found on the prohibited substance list.

MY 27 year old TB wasn't sweating at all this summer. I had tried beer and the one AC with no avail. My trainer put him on a magnesium supplement and BOOM he started sweating like a pig! Not sure if that is on any drug list though.
