I know several people who use Coastal Equine and are very pleased with them.

I second Coastal Equine. Dr. Sweeney if you can get him.

Dr. Cowles from Blue Ridge Equine travels to VA Beach a few times a month. He is a great lameness diagnostician and does a thorough (but sensible) PPE, IMHO.

In the area, I would recommend Coastal. However if you can get Blue Ridge, I would do so. I believe BR is coming down on the 11.

In the area there are several choices - The Oaks, Dominion Equine, Coastal Equine. Dr. Sweeney is great, but not working right now from what I hear. The main thing is to find out who the regular vet is and use a different one to avoid any conflicts.

Dr. Sweeney, last I heard, was in the hospital. I doubt he's available.

I personally use the Oaks and find them the easiest clinic to work with and all the vets very capable. They currently have my business but I have used Coastal in the past. I won't use Dominion Vet.
