We used him last year and thought he did a nice job with the horse. Route was kind of convoluted to get her from an odd area, then on up here to Michigan.
She stayed over a day or two enroute, which was fine with us and gave her a rest. Young horse at 3yrs, never been hauled very far before and road miles are tiring.
He kept us appraised of his location and how she was doing. His trailer is large, was deeply bedded in sawdust for cushion and he gave her a double stall because of her larger size.
She was tired when she arrived, but not shaky or anything like that. Looked well fed and watered, he said she drank from buckets just fine for him. Horse arrived in the middle of the night, lots of road construction delays. I would rather have one be a bit late in delivery, taking time with the horses comfort.
We would use him again. Thought the price charged was fine, again we had no rush to get her here for a show or anything. Horse was easy to handle coming off, not excited at all, not upset, reloaded quietly when asked. Husband always reloads if they come in from a long haul, to see if horse doesn't want to get back on, get any resistance over with right then. Have never had one refuse to reload!
Other horses in the trailer looked quiet, calm, unloaded, drank from buckets and reloaded as Danny adjusted the order horses were in for the next stop. Danny was well recommended to us, we were happy with his hauling service.
