    Default sponsors

First off, I am an amateur competing in BN. However, I use a product that could potentially offer me a sponsorship. Is this legal? How does it work? They only have one other person they are sponsoring. I do not want them to pay for my showing or anything, I just want to help promote this new product, as I really think eventers would like it. I also do hunters, so I don't know how I would do that, but I just don't know the rules.

Do I have to be a professional? Will I get in trouble? I am not asking them to pay for my bills, just maybe give me a few free products in return for spreading the word (which i already do!) and have samples at my stall. I could also potentially get my trainer involved as she already has a couple sponsors.

I'm an adult ammy with a 9-5 job and I have 1 or if I'm lucky 2 horses to ride.
    : )

I have sponsors. They don't pay for anything but I do promote their products.
Actually, most of the deals are done with a credit system which almost makes me more of an employee!

according to USEF I have to be a Pro.

This is not much of an issue with eventing but boy will it screw you up in the hunters.

you'll have to find the wording in the rule book and make sense of it.

I just tried but had some troubles with navigation.

    do a search for sponsorships.
It's been talked to death her on the boards which is most likely why people haven't responded.
