I want to thank you for carrying my daughter safely over countless fences, courses, lessons and fun rides with her friends. I want to thank you for letting her know unconditional love, responsibility and the honor of being that very special person to a very special horse.
I want to thank you for the mother bear in you that looked out for my little girl while she was learning the ropes, for letting her dress you up, hug you til it hurt, and being there if she had a rough day.
I want to thank you for being the world's best alarm clock, watch dog and welcoming committee with your wonderful, loud greeting for anyone who drove up our driveway. But most of all, I want to thank you for the freedom, joy and fun you gave your little girl.
I am always in awe of the beautiful words owners find to celebrate their horses. They always bring tears to my eyes. Godspeed Franka. I hope your little girl is ok tonight. Must be hard for her, but she knows you will always look over her!
