Default We survived!! Ed Venture's Inspection with pics and video

After some much need sleep here I am to post an update on our inspection at Pepperwood farm. All in all everything went great. The horses shipped to and from the site well (always my biggest fear after being hit by a drunk driver coming home from a horse show with my daughters pony several years ago). They both settled in and never batted an eye at any of the new sites and sounds. We went on many walkabouts and everyone commented on what a perfect gentleman Eddie was. Most of the time leading the way all over Pepperwood Farm. When it came time for his turn he did not disappoint me. I think he trotted the whole time which is always one of the fears. LOL Christian Schacht has some wonderful comments on the quality of our colt and that we did it again, reaching our goals as his breeder for the hunters Of course because of his more huntery movement he didn't score as high there but I am thrilled with his score for type and conformation In the end Eddie scored a very respectable:
Ed Venture by Escapade out of DoUThinkUCanDance
    8.4 for Conformation and Type
    7.8 for movement
    8.2 over all development
    8.1 over all score
I am very happy and proud of both my colt and my mare for giving us another lovely foal. It was also awesome to get to meet several people who I get to chat with her online. In the end we walked away with another great experience, some new friends and a very tired crew. Look forward to doing it all over again next year!!

Here is a video where you can hear all of the inspectors comments :

Same to you and if your beautiful mare turns up missing, I won't have a clue to her where abouts. She was all of our favorite from the day.
