Default 2 Border collie/Blue Heeler/X females need home

These two girls are almost 8 months old. Up to date on shots, house broken, crate and leash trained, know basic commands ( unless they get distracted!). They are good with other dogs, cats, horses, chickens and young ( at least down to the age of 3) children. They enjoy cuddling, will watch a movie with you, snuggle in your bed, and enjoy taking long jogs or hikes. I believe both dogs could do well in agility or in herding with some training.

Kya is black with a bit of white on her face and chest and some tan on her legs. She has a bit more energy than Shelbie. She also is a bit more outgoing. She is very good going places, making friends with anyone but sitting quietly to wait when needed. She is more likely to bark. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...type=1&theater

Shelbie is white, black and brown. She is more submissive and a bit quieter. She tends to get sick on car rides. She has been to a few horse shows and was a model citizen, walking nicely amid all the chaos of at the warm up ring and then snoozing in her crate when we needed to leave her in the car. She is very patient at the barn, following her people around and when we are busy with the horses she just sits and watches the outside world or will sniff around in the close area. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...type=1&theater

These pups are in no danger. We will keep them until we find just the right homes for them. Unfortunately with college students and older teens in the house who have school, work and a social life, these pups are not getting the attention they deserve. The best home would be one with either someone who is home a good portion of the day, or someone who likes being active when they get home and/or somewhere that has some property so they can run.

They do not need to go together although they do play nicely with one another and that helps them get their exercise.

We are located in Lancaster county PA. Feel free to contact me for better pictures or more information.
