Boarding a horse near Denver? OR know anything about the AQHA shows/open shows?
Can anyone help me with this?
I lived in Denver 3 years ago and had trail horses. Moved home- now have a show horse. He is not an easy keeper like my trail horse was. He needs to be fed his supplements (smartpak) feed and oats 1-2X a day (depending on the boarding situation) and good hay. Looking around denver, littleton, parker I'm not finding anythign in my budget (350-ish) that would supply him with that ( i provide supplements and even feed if need be) The place I used to board had AMAZNG trails, but the horses were not given supplements or feed, just hay, and were not what I would call in the best of shape at all.
Anyone have any good recommendations around denver for good horse boarding for someone with a bit of a hard keeper?
Also- Do you do you know anything about aqha or open shows in the area?
I bought a horse from this gal. I never went to the farm- a COTH'er out in the area did a trial ride for me and I had the horse shipped to KS. Anyway, she has been there forever and does AQHA shows. http://www.gandjlazyp.com/boarding.html
