In my opinion, yes. I can't fathom anyone working around a young horse that is just getting started under saddle and not protecting their head.

Ok I apologize again for my last video. Today I will try to make it up....
My husband is on vacation right now so we have time to catch the progress of the young horses..
This was yesterdays practise and we are very proud how she does... By the way she is supposed to become a dressage horse.. This is just some fun for her....

Wow, she just "floats" doesn't she? I think dressage is definitely more her calling than jumping.

    Love your three year old

Just thought I'd mention I'd give her lots of love, maybe wrap her up and send her to me for x-mas?

OMG, I am in LOVE with Blacky!!! Holy Smokes, her type is just exquisite! I love how curvy and smooth-bodied and pretty-faced she is (very expressive)! Just lovely! Love her daughter too.

You have some gorgeous horses and beautiful photographs! THanks for sharing!

@ Fancy That Thank you very much for your kind words!! Although she tends to be fat.... Calling it curvy is very kind of you.

Wow I really neglected this thread!! There are a lot of exciting news..
Yesterday our neighbor had a little private schoolingcompetetion and my husband went there with our horses.
For Daisy it was the first time ever she was on his grounds and I thought she did great
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unRTO9iU_7Y

Sandy is a little more experienced but also still very green.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5R-bJAQVNU

And please keep in mind, both of them are dressage bred. But we think that jumping is very good for their basic training...

And our foal arrived. So far it looks very lovely. I will try to post some pics. In about 3 weeks we will have our presentation for registration and I will try to post some pics as well...

We did get a foal this year and had foal classification last week.. The same photographer who took all the nice pictures of my other horses was there and look at the result.

Yesterday Daysie did a Young Riding horse competition. She got 2. place out of 23 horses. IMO she did really well and I'm starting to become quite proud of her....

    Video of the competition...

Wow, I'd never seen this thread before and thoroughly enjoyed getting caught up with it all today! Your mares are lovely ~ you should write a blog about them .

I just returned from Belgium and love that part of the world now - I hope to visit Germany next time. I love how respectful drivers are of the horses - in my area there is NO way I'd be able to pony a youngster as you did with your 2 year old. Europeans are much more respectful of riders (cyclists and equestrians).

Both she and her mother will move to Florida in a few weeks. I'm getting excited
