Default Repro vet near central PA

I'm located slightly northeast of central PA. Can anyone recommend a great repro vet who has a lot of experience with frozen semen? Good service is important but excellent care of my mare while there is also imperative. Thank you for your help!

Ok thank you. That was the only place I knew of but just checking to make sure there wasn't a good one closer to me. Nandi appears to be about three hours away. But if they're the best around, I'm game.

I haven't lived in Central PA in about 12 years so they may well have something better/closer but since no one was commenting I thought I would throw that out there. My repro vet from when I was in PA doesn't board or else I would have mentioned her.

I'm guessing there's nothing within the hour or two hour range or someone might chime in.

Lori something... I can't think of her last name, but she showed paint mares and did only repro work. I could find her for you, I'm sure, if you're interested. She was based out of Carlisle. I remember her being very approachable and pleasant to work with, as well.

Default What county are you in?

Perhaps if we knew approximately where you are located we could better serve you.

I'm not sure about boarding facilities, but Dr. Scott Mcallister of Centre Equine Practice was the repo vet for a Trakehner breeding farm in Centre Hall that I rode at in college. That was 2005 so I'm not sure if he's still in practice or not.

I'm in Lycoming County. Dr. McCallister is probably an hr and a half from me but I've never known him to do much with frozen semen. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

For frozen I have been told either Nandi or New Bolton.

Henderon's and Edelson's have both said they could breed with frozen, give them a call. Edelson has been in the reproductive business a long time. The next best thing would be New Bolton.
