I am not that good. I am a crazy chick with a credit card. Charlie is the hero here. I am telling you. He is the Best. Horse. Ever. (Okay, he is one of the best horses ever, I am sure that Stella and Justice might object to that statement. Particularly Stella, who is quite certain that she is all that and a bag of chips following her Katy Perry run in Thermal). And the girl knows how great he is, which makes it perfect. Here are pics.

What a wonderful story, I'm so glad it has such a happy ending too. And you're a wonderful human being for saving him Justice. Charlie is very lucky and he deserves his wonderful new owner, they look so happy together.

Great idea! He had that special way about him even when I saw him at the auction.

    Good luck with him.
So to add to the EPSM thing... I think timothy pellets would be nutritionally the same thing as eating hay, but like Stolen Virtue says, easier for some horses. The same principle applies though, hay (or hay pellets), alfalfa, and NO GRAIN (or sugars). If that doesn't get results, add oil.

I am totally stealing this line.

But RF had it right: you are good people. What a great story.

Gentle Giant I'm so glad you posted. I was just wondering about this thread recently. Do you have any recent pics of the two of you that you would be willing to post for us? I really liked the other ones, especially the santa hat one and the one with you jogging beside him. I'm so glad you found each other
