    Default New to COTH!!

Hi all! I am new to this website, and I am so giddy now that I have found it!

I have also just bought a new horse, and I am so excited!

Here is some info about me, just to introduce myself:

My name is Jennifer, I am 26 years old, I live near Houston, I rode dressage for most of my life but sold my horse when I went to college, I am married, no kids (yet!), but have 3 fur-babies!

Would love to meet more people on here!

Welcome!!! The chron is fantastic for wonderful advice and meeting knowledgable people who have the same love for horses and animals!! I don't know how I survived without it.

Very pretty mare. I have not seen the Cremello horse you wrote about in your blog, but I am personally partial to the more traditional Black/Bay/Chestnut/Gray horse colors!

The house guests welcome you too =)

Your first inside joke! Check out the novel length Alisjia Granger thread when you have a free week if you would like the origin of that one.

You will learn a lot here, spit on your keyboard at least once from laughing, and meet some nice people.

Congrats on your new horse! I am jealous that you made the time to return to riding at 26. I waited until I was 37, and seriously regret not doing it sooner.

You'll meet lots of great people here, and get really useful advice and support. Beware that threads can get a little snarky at times (I am sure I have been guilty of making a snide comment or two) -- don't take it personally when you eventually find yourself embroiled in one. It's just the nature of the beast.

Additional recommended reading (when you are home sick or snowed in, so you have a couple of days to get through it) is the Crayola Posse thread. It is pretty old, and before my time -- I can't remember how I ended up reading it -- it is hysterical!

Pretty sure this is the origin of the house guests. But they do make many repeat appearances over the years!

    And welcome!
