Talking Because one just isn't enough

Introducing Chez rivenoak's newest member, Paradise Valley Juniper '09:

    https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

She's a littermate to our other house beagle, PV Jodhpur '09 ("Chopper"). I'll try to get a picture of the two of them together because they're two very different types other than color. It's hard to get two beagles to hold still though!

So cute! I have 2 beagles, and I have no problem getting their lazy butts to lay still on the couch In fact, the only time they get hyper is when they hear their food being dished or a bag of treats opening.

ETA: Or when they smell some sort of animal/lizard/bird/etc to hunt. Then they won't sit still either

The best is yet to come

Wateryglen, luckily I think the kid can hold his own against a beagle! He outweighs them a bit, thank goodness.

Here's a sorta fuzzy shot that shows her a little bit better:

And here's are the siblings. Someone's always got psychotic eyes, sorry! Juni's on the left, Chops is on the right:

    How old are your beagles?

I'm hoping in a few years these two will settle down.

They're only 15 months old, so they still wrassle, and run, and jump, and destroy things.

    Default BEAGLES!!

How wonderful, Rivenoak! We have three, plus a hound mix with a suspicious amount of woolly hair. Two of our three (Icebox, aka Mr. Box, and Eider)are former members of the Clear Creek Beagles pack out of Louisville, Ky. Beagles are just the very best.
