Default PPE vet near Fair Hill and/or SO NJ

    This is NOT for me

Fair Hill: I can think of someone already but this is a very, very, very inexpensive horse -- a steal of a project -- so perhaps my idea (Kevin Keane) is overkill? Horse would be project eventer but honestly as long as it was not about to keel over friend could at a minimum turn it around as it is uber green and she's very talented.

SO NJ -- sort of due east of Trenton (sorry, my NJ geography a bit vague, going by google). This one would be lowlevel sport horse, not going to do anything TOO strenuous.

Two different horses, obviously. (friend is going on a FUN shopping spree!)

    Thanks!

Jennifer Platt is in Delran NJ but is a mobile vet. I know she'd cover the NJ horse. I suspect she'd go to Fair Hillish area too. LOVE her!

Also in Fair Hillish area is Mary Griffiths who used to be at Sports Medicine Associates.

If your friend wants to "turn it around" wouldn't she want to know what could show up in the next PPE? To me, the price tag on the horse doesn't make a lick of difference to whether to get a thorough PPE or not...Spend the dough on a good exam and know what you have.

Kathy Anderson is fabulous. She's at Fair Hill.

In SE PA - http://griffinequine.com/ or http://www.equigenllc.com/ Both Mary and Stacey are great.

You might also check with Danny Warrington if he has a vet he likes near there.
OTTBs rule, but spots are good too!

This! Chuck, the other vet, is great too- very realistic when it comes to PPE's. Also, Unionville Equine is another great place

I meant Mary Griffin. Not Giffith. Oops! Actually, under the circumstances, she'd be my #1 choice for the Fair Hill horse. And Dr. Platt for the NJ horse.

Mary's great--I used her for several (unfortunately) PPEs. She is also cheaper than UEA.

I vote for Mary Griffin x 1,000,000! She's the best.

I don't know that she'll travel as far as Trenton, though.

Not to worry, we are down to just the Fair Hill horse.

NJ pony was adorable, practically free, sound in work, will be used VERY lightly and loved on, comes with all blankets/tack. Friend thought it was worth a gamble.

    Thanks, everyone!
