Default Anyone know of a trainer in or around Lynchburg, VA?

I'm at college in Lynchburg, VA. I'm searching for a trainer to help me progress with my CH/AD jumper. I don't necessarily need a big name trainer or anything, I just want someone who has knowledge and experience. Preferably within an hour's driving distance. Anyone out there know of someone to fit the bill?

You'll have better luck with replies if your subject line summarizes your request.

Gordon Reistrup in Blacksburg may suit. In the other direction, Sulu Rose Reed is in Manakin Sabot (I think).

Gordon is in Lexington - still within an hours driving time with a trailer. Sulu Rose Reed would be about 2 hours away.

Which college are you attending and where are you keeping your horse now?

There is a trainer in Bedford, which will be closer. I can't remember her name, but someone out here will know her name. Very nice lady.

I don't know if any of the trainers at Sweet Briar would be willing to help you, but that's where I would go! The barn Randolph College rides out of is not strictly "college" also, if I remember correctly. OR, a bit more than an hour, but I'd drive to Charlottesville if I were you. Tons of really great barns and trainers to choose from.
