Also, does anyone know if he still teaches at his barn in New Zealand when he's there? The only link I found on the web for his barn didn't work...
I will be in NZ (North Island mostly) in February and have a week to do something horsey. Two years ago I did a 5-day trek on the South Island, but this time I thought if I could do some intensive lessons it would be great!
I know that he does do riding type vaca's for people there... he travels extensively so might be tough to catch him when he's home!
He is amazing I bet he would do lessons at his place... he has a boat load of horses!

No problem! He comes to my barn each year and I have been super lucky to ride with him twice and audit once, for sure beyond worth it... I save all year for it. And honestly with the amount of time he spends with each and every rider you get well beyond your moneys worth.

audited a clinic my friend was riding in a couple weeks ago, definitely gives personal attention and caters to each rider's needs...just don't show up with shavings in your horses' tail! haha
He mentioned (at a clinic in late July) that they are now doing less of the training/riding vacation thing at their place.
