I have had my CANTER cutie for a year now as well and I am so very pleased with him. He has been in training since June and is doing great (moving forward was his big issue as well...darn those runaway ex-racers ). He will turn four in March and we will see what he can do over fences then. Hopefully I'll have myself a little jumper
Thank you! he knows how to move out at a gallop but asking for a good working trot at the beginning was challenging. It was one thing I didn't think he'd have an issue with. He's been so, so easy and willing though. He has such an amazing work ethic and focus and remembers everything from one session to the next.
Our fieldmaster was on a cute little black OTTB mare 6 months off the track and she was a gem. I don't understand how all of these gorgeous, cheap, althetic horses have gotten such a bad reputation for being difficult!
