Default I got it, the Snowman book!!

It came! It's here! The Eighty Dollar Champion!

Tons of chores to do before I could settle down and get through much of it, but the first chapters are super! I love reading about the history of how the horse was used before the two world wars. I didn't know the Army was the largest user/breeder of horses before WWII.

Anyone else got their copy yet? We can only hope someone wants to do a movie on this. Anyone out there with a Snowman lookalike who could star in the film production?

I'm asking for this for Christmas. Figure if I ask now, my son can save up by December.

My mom got me this for my birthday! I haven't had a chance to read it yet as my brother got me the book Shy Boy so I have been making my way though that one first.

Just put a hold on it at the library! Kind of amazed that my very urban city requested it... but I won't argue with that.

My DH just picked it up from the PO Box this AM. As soon as I get home from work I will delve into it. Are there lots of pictures of Harry and Snowman???

AHH I did not need to know it's on kindle! Going on my wish list...though I'll probably want a hard copy of it too, as it feels "wrong" to read a horsey book on a kindle somehow!

Does anyone else remember, from waay back in early 1960s, when Snowman's picture and story were the feature one week for the Life Magazine 'Miscellany' Page?

This book is for sure on my list to acquire!

It arrived yesterday and I flipped through it. Lots of nice pictures and also seems to be quite in depth with respect to Snowman's entire career... I will savor this book and also plan to buy another copy for my girlfriend (who also remembers seeing Snowman at the Garden)...

I pre-ordered it for my Nook, and it dowloaded on the 23rd, but I have been swamped with work and haven't started reading it yet. Looking forward to the weekend so I can get to it!
