Six Weeks in Saratoga: How Three-Year-Old Filly Rachel Alexandra Beat the Boys and Became Horse of the Year
Brendan O’Meara will read from and sign copies of his non-fiction account of the 2009 Saratoga Springs racing season. It was during those six weeks that the best trainers and some of the best horses the decade produced fought for dominance. It was the unlikely winner of the 2009 Preakness Stakes, a filly named Rachel Alexandra, who beat them all.
